JOINING PYC

How to join - Application can be made after meeting a couple of club members - usually this is accomplished by joining a Trial Sail with the club.

PYC Membership runs from 1st March until end of February the following year.

Membership approval is managed by the Rear Commodore - Administration. Once approved by PYC your membership starts once payment has been received and you may make Club Sail, Training and Racing bookings.

PYC MEMBERSHIP

ADULT MEMBER is defined as an adult person over the age of eighteen, entitled to one vote at general meetings.

SPOUSE/PARTNER MEMBER is defined as related to an ADULT MEMBER and is offered 50% discounted annual membership fee.   Spouse/Partner Members are not able to vote at PYC Meetings.

ADULT MEMBER 18 - 25 Years of age is offered 50% discounted annual membership fee, entitled to one vote at general meetings.

INTRODUCTORY MEMBER

Introductory membership is defined as a person: -

• Sailing on board a Club yacht who is not otherwise a Club member.
• Has completed the Introductory Membership form.
• Whose membership is limited to one month.
• Who has paid the Introductory Membership fee.
• Is not entitled to vote at club meetings.

Note - Introductory Membership is not open to anyone who has previously been a PYC Member or taken part in a PYC Introductory sail at any time.
