Sailing Programme 2025 summaryThe Club put together an exciting sailing and training programme for 2025. There were two Summer Cruises (UK to the Baltic Sea, South West Coast & Isles of Scilly), Boat Handling Training, RYA Training and RYA/MCA YachtmasterTM Preparation weeks through the year and Yacht racing. Please note, these activities are only available to PYC Members (not Introductory Members). At all other times the boats are available to be booked for ad-hoc cruises and mentoring by Club Skippers and Members. Other trips are already planned to Northern France and the Channel Islands. |
Summer Cruise 1 - Baltic SeaThe Baltic cruise was in Quartette involving 3 weeks going to Kiel, a total of 500nm, which is in part delivery from Gosport to the Netherlands and then onwards slower cruising to Kiel. Once in the Baltic there was plenty to explore in the south-west Baltic such as the Islands of Fyn (Funen) or Zealand (Sjaelland) so we changed over in Kiel for some of the 6 Baltic weeks and also go onto Copenhagen. Then there was 3 weeks to get back to Gosport.
