Spellbinder of Wych 1991 – 2017
Spellbinder is a Sadler Starlight 39, a fast performance cruiser built in 1991. She has a ‘Training Yacht’ configuration, with a third cabin in place of the second heads giving a maximum of eight berths. PYC bought Spellbinder from BP when the club was formed and she served us very well. However over the years she became less competitive in races because the handicapping system has favoured newer boats so we decided it was time to replace her with a newer cruiser racer in 2018.
